Make Your Money Matter and Donate to Support R-ACT Theater Productions Today!
For over 30 years, our fantastic audiences, local business supporters, and members have helped R-ACT to keep the arts alive in Beaver County. Without the financial support of these dedicated members of our local artistic community we would not have "broken" so many legs throughout the years! We are working to grow our art and entertainment community with every hard earned dollar by growing into technological advancement through social media, and transforming the Segriff Stage into a spectacular space to tell stories and create art. We graciously accept any donations that keep us moving forward and helps us entertain you and your friends and family for years to come! |

MONETARY DONATIONS |
COSTUME/PROP DONATIONSDoes R-ACT accept donations?
Sometimes, but usually not. R-ACT has been collecting costumes, props, and furniture for over 30 years, and our storage is very limited. While we’d love to give your gently used items new life on stage, we can only accept pieces that fit our current needs and available space. If you have something that might be a good fit, please email [email protected] with photos and sizes/dimensions so we can review it. Donation Guidelines: • Items must be lightweight and easy to move up/down stairs to/from our storage spaces. • We can sometimes accept unique vintage or hard-to-find items from earlier eras, such as old radios, televisions, luggage, handbags, or decorative pieces that can’t easily be replicated if they are lightweight and in good condition. (Electronics and appliances do not need to work.) • We rarely accept costume donations, but we’d be interested in seeing period-specific, and/or larger-sized and big and tall costumes and clothing pieces in good condition. • We do not accept children’s or teen costumes. • Mass-produced costumes are generally not accepted. Currently Needed: • Lightweight but heavy-duty shelving for storage. • Photography backdrops or photo booth props. • A large but lightweight electric fireplace (flame effect only; no heat) to replace our excessively heavy one. Borrowing & Lending: If you have an item you’d prefer to keep but are open to lending it for a production, contact us with photos and dimensions. R-ACT is also happy to lend select items to local theater companies, pending board approval. Please email us with inquiries. DONATE TIME & TALENTNot all donations come in dollars.
R-ACT runs entirely on the time, skills, and creativity of volunteers who make our productions possible. Donating your time and talents is one of the most meaningful ways to support local theater! If you have a gift for organizing, creating, performing, or problem-solving, there’s a place for you here. Visit our Volunteer page to learn how you can get involved and see how your contribution can help keep community theater thriving. |

LOW COST, HIGH QUALITYR-ACT is a nonprofit community theater dedicated to producing low-cost, high-quality shows that make live theater accessible to everyone. We take pride in using our resources responsibly.
We keep production costs low without sacrificing creativity or quality by: • Presenting many of our shows in a black box style, using minimal sets or reusing flats and materials from storage • Featuring original plays by local writers, which often have no or low licensing fees • Relying on existing costumes, props, and furniture, borrowing or sourcing secondhand items whenever possible • Eliminating paper tickets through fully electronic ticketing • Choosing shows that fit our space and available resources • Building each season strategically by balancing higher-cost productions with simpler, lower-cost shows These practices allow us to: • Offer some of the lowest ticket prices in town, with most shows priced at $12 plus fees • Present an annual holiday radio show that donates all proceeds to a local charity • Provide Front of House volunteers the opportunity to see shows for free • Occasionally sponsor other arts organizations in Beaver County Your donation helps us continue bringing affordable, high-quality live theater to our community while supporting local artists, writers, and volunteers. |
