On the Stage or Behind the Scenes?
|
R-ACT Theatre Productions is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers who share a love of theater and a mission to keep the arts alive in Beaver County.
Your gifts of time and talent are the backbone keeping our theater afloat. There are numerous ways you can support R-ACT in our mission by donating your time and talent. Please consider attending a show, becoming a member, volunteering, auditioning, becoming a sponsor, or donating financially. Any and all efforts are welcome and appreciated. Please read below for more details about getting involved in our organization or email us at [email protected] with any questions. Submit this form to volunteer. Thank you for your continued support of R-ACT Theatre Productions. We hope to see you at our theater in some capacity in the very near future. |
BEHIND THE SCENES VOLUNTEERS
Tech booth, Stage Crew, and more!
In addition to onstage talent, we're always looking for behind-the-scenes helpers.
Backstage and technical talent is just as important!
If you would rather run the spotlight, than be in it, we have a job for you! Participating behind the scenes is most of the work and a lot of the fun.
Let us know what you would like to help with! Whether you are manning the sound board, sewing costumes, organizing props, or building sets, your time and talent is always welcome.
Please fill out this form with participation interests.

FRONT OF HOUSE VOLUNTEERS
|
Front of House volunteers are an important aspect of our shows. House workers help make the theater experience comfortable and convenient for our guests. We invite you to volunteer to work House for one (or all!) of our productions. House volunteer opportunities include running box office, ushering, selling concessions, selling raffle tickets, and keeping the theater and bathrooms clean.
If you are on Facebook and are interested in volunteering to work House, please join our Facebook group R-ACT House Help Volunteers. Email questions to [email protected]. |

DIRECTORS
To be eligble to direct at R-ACT one must have experience directing elsewhere or have served as assistant director and/or stage manager for at least two R-ACT productions. Directors are selected a season prior from applicable R-ACT members interested in directing. If there is not enough interest to direct among R-ACT members, then an application is made available to the public. In that case, directors are selected a season prior from submitted applications. All director positions for the 2026 season have been filled. There are still opportunities to Assistant Direct or Stage Manage for the remaining 2025 season and the upcoming 2026 season. Please fill out the application if interested in A.D. or S.M. If you have experience directing and are interested in directing at R-ACT in the future, please check back during the summer of 2026 when applications will open for the 2027 season. |
ASSISTANT DIRECTORS / STAGE MANAGERS
Assistant Directors and Stage Managers are selected by the directors. Some directors or shows use only a Stage Manager, others use just an Assistant Director, others use both. Some might also use an Assistant Stage Manager. Being an Assistant Director or Stage Manager does not require any experience and there is no official selection process. However, we highly recommend you fill out the application so that our directors are aware of your interest. R-ACT does not assign assistant directors or stage managers. We simply make directors aware of who is interested and available and they select from there. If you're interested in stage managing or assistant directing one of our productions please click here to submit your interest. |
Are you a creative and enthusiastic performer? Whether you are a seasoned actor or a novice, we welcome all responsible and committed persons interested to audition for our productions. You will find the latest audition details on our Auditions page. Audition information will also be posted on Facebook and Instagram, please follow for updates.
