ACT TWO
The Murderer is Revealed!
In 1940s Los Angeles, Nick Dekker, a hard-boiled, cynical private detective with a soft spot in either his heart or his head, is hired to find the murderer of glamorous Margo Fontaine. Who could have shot the gold-digging, social-climbing Margo? Could it have been Delilah Versailles, Margo’s femme fatale of a sister? Was it Augustus Fontaine, Margo’s husband, the Canned Corned Beef King? Could the murderer be Bunny Fontaine, Margo’s pretty, perky, and positively dumb stepdaughter? Maybe it was Lynx Fontaine, Margo’s gambling stepson? Could it have been Mrs. Mallory, the housekeeper who would be more at home on a broomstick? Or Buck, the pool man with a hypnotic power over woman? And what does the mysterious Maltese Spaniel have to do with the case? Will Nick be able to put the clues together and finally solve a case?
