Welcome to the Hollar! R-ACT Theatre Productions is back with another audience participation murder mystery. Cheryl Crabb thoroughly enjoyed directing this production and is thankful for such a participative cast that was willing to change their blocking many, many times. She also bribed them during rehearsals with food to keep everyone happy too. When asked for some insider information on the show, Cheryl shared of the many laughs the whole group had during rehearsals. It also seems that there’s a lot of contradictions between actors’ personalities compared to their show characters. Quiet Bridget Yeager as Voluptua Amore is vamped up like never before while sweet and positive Diane Brosius plays the meanest of them all – Beulah McKade. There’s also sleazy Seymour Simpson played by Eric Armstrong. Other characters Cheryl describes are sweet Rosa Lee, laughable Reuben McKade, and dim-witted Zeke. Then there’s Luther Drummer – the Benedict Cumberbatch of the hollar. All in all, it’s one motley group of misfits and someone’s gonna git it. Get your tickets today so you can find out who – and WHY!
